The IPC64/19(M)-WM serial ports COM1 and COM2 are 9-pin male SUB-D connectors with standard PC pinouts. Both serial ports are using RS232C interface levels. The ports are fully compatible with the 16C450 (CP/386EX Single Board Computer) or 16C550 ACE registers (CP/486DX1 Single Board Computer). This offers software compatibility with PC type driver programs. The serial ports are mapped at COM1 I/O adr. 3F8h - 3FFh with IRQ4 and COM2 I/O adr. 2F8h - 2FFh and interrupt request line IRQ3.
