CP/486DX2 BLOCK DIAGRAM
The CP/486DX2 PC/104-sized (90 * 96 mm) single board computer module provides an ideal core for industrial embedded network applications. The CP/486DX2 utilizes the AMD low power 486DX2 or 486DX5 (586) processor and an array of peripherals including two RS232C serial ports, one parallel port, floppy and (E)IDE drive interface and an NE2000 10BASE-T Ethernet interface. The on-board FLASH memory provides storage for the operating system as well as OEM embedded networking application software and data. For system expansion, the CP/486DX2 offers a 16-bit stackthrough PC/104 interface and connector.

The CP/486DX2 offers 13 connectors and one 6-pin configuration jumper. There are connectors for the 16-bit PC/104 bus interface, power, CPU Fan (option), JTAG test and debug port, (E)IDE interface, two serial ports (COM1 and COM2), one parallel port (LPT), floppy disk (FDD) interface, utility (keyboard interface, external battery and RESET switch) and the 10BASE-T Ethernet interface.
