BB2M6 PC/104 FLAT PANEL PC
The FLAT PANEL PC (FPPC) BB2M6 is a industrial PC base for front panel mounting. The BB2M6 provides a powerful platform to build low cost, high performance, real- time solutions. Together with a PC/104 CPU/SBC it is fully functional for industrial applications and will run without disks and keyboard. It is well suited for industrial applications such as, automated industrial equipment, medical instrumentation, transportation, manufacturing, communication, test and measurement on the factory floor.

The BB2M6 FLAT PANEL PC consists of two major components: The 6.4" MONOCHROME VGA LCD and the BB2M6 Base Board. The front of the BB2M6 FLAT PANEL PC is the MONOCHROME VGA LCD with 640 * 480 dots in graphic mode and 25 lines * 80 charīs in standard text mode. The BB2M6 Base Board is back side mounted to the MONOCHROME VGA LCD. The BB2M6 Base Board offers an onboard VGA controller, VGA BIOS, 512 Kbyte VRAM, LCD power supply, keyboard scanner for matrix keyboards and a 8- bit or 16- bit PC/104 interface with connector. We offer also the BB2M6 FLAT PANEL PC with 34- key front panel keyboard, the product name is IPC64/19M Flat Panel PC.

The BB2M6 Base Board contains a flat panel VGA controller with 512 Kbyte onboard video RAM, the VGA BIOS, a LCD power supply, one keyboard scanner for 8 * 8 = 64 keys front panel matrix keyboards and for a external keyboard and one 8- or 16- bit, non- stackthrough PC/104 interface and connector. The BB2M6 Base Board VGA controller supports simultaneous use of the MONOCHROME VGA LCD and one external analog CRT monitor.

The BB2M6 Base Board VGA controller is fully compatible with the VGA graphics standard at the register, gate and BIOS levels. The VGA controller provides full backwards compatibility with the EGA, CGA, MDA and Hercules graphics standards. Mode initialization is supported at the BIOS and register levels, ensuring compatibility with application software. The VGA controller offers hardware cursor improving Windows performance. The VGA controller and other BB2M6 Base Board logic properly sequences the power with respect to the control and data signals to prevent damage to the MONOCHROME VGA LCD.
